I picked up his book, Ubunto for Non-Geeks, figuring it would walk me through the boot stage. I’m not a complete non-geek so I figured I would struggle but generally be ok. Instead, I’m right at the first stage, and his fucking book completely forgets to include this step.

The step is: At the boot stage I chose Ubuntu instead of windows, and up came a command line ‘grub>’. Where’s the instruction on what to type there Richard?

Fuck me, I’ve looked two times through his book, through the menu, and then I had to go back to windows and try and find it on the net. Still haven’t found it.
